On October 5th local time, Mr. Salimu. U. Athumani, president of Mwera District Council, Pangani, Tanga, Tanzania, presented a Letter of Thanks to the Pangani Road Project Department of the Tanzania Branch of Shandong Dejian International Economic AND Technical Cooperation Co., Ltd. (hereinafter abbreviated as Dejian International) and expressed his gratitude to the company on behalf of Mwera District Council for its assistance in expanding secondary school dormitories of this district.
The Mwera Secondary School is located in the Mwera District suburb, where most of the students are left-behind children whose parents work outside Mwera. To improve the accommodation of the school, the Mwera District Council and the school have decided to expand their dormitories. However, equipment and materials are unavailable for the expansion work due to financial constraints. After getting the information, the Tanzania Branch Company took the initiative to contact the Mwera District Council and the school, inspect the site and provide them with the excavators, tip trucks and aggregates free of charge to help them as much as possible.
Mr. Salimu U. Athumani was deeply moved by our action and highly praised the company's fulfilment of social responsibilities. Dejian International will further assist local education and social development and showcase a good image of Chinese enterprises.
