【Abstracts】On the occasion of the Dragon Boat Festival and Children's Day, to promote traditional Chinese culture and create a joyful and harmonious festival atmosphere, the Hi-Speed Dejian International Branch organized a double festival celebration theme activity for employees and their children. The activity integrated traditional culture with modern life, bringing an unforgettable festival experience to everyone.
On the occasion of the Dragon Boat Festival and Children's Day, to promote traditional Chinese culture and create a joyful and harmonious festival atmosphere, the Hi-Speed Dejian International Branch organized a double festival celebration theme activity for employees and their children. The activity integrated traditional culture with modern life, bringing an unforgettable festival experience to everyone.
At the beginning of the activity, a florist explained the origin and customs of the Dragon Boat Festival, particularly emphasizing the unique status of mugwort in the festival and its beautiful implication of dispelling evil and disaster. the florist guided everyone in making mugwort bouquets, from selecting mugwort and pruning branches to bundling them. Children, with the help of their parents, fully unleashed their creativity, transforming ordinary mugwort into unique artworks. The venue was filled with the fragrance of mugwort and resounded with laughter, creating a warm and harmonious atmosphere.
In the following zongzi-making session, ingredients such as glutinous rice, red dates, and zongzi leaves were neatly arranged. Participants focused on making zongzi, carefully adjusting the angle of the leaves, controlling the amount of glutinous rice, and studying knot-tying methods. Although the zongzi varied in shape—some angular, some round and plump—each one embodied everyone's heart, pushing the traditional charm of the Dragon Boat Festival to a climax.
At the end of the activity, the company prepared colorful hand ropes symbolizing health, peace, and happiness for each employee's child. This activity combined traditional cultural experience with corporate humanistic care, not only enriching employees' amateur lives and enhancing team cohesion, but also allowing everyone to feel the charm of traditional culture through personal experience. While inheriting and promoting excellent traditional Chinese culture, the company has built a platform for employees and their children to communicate, learn, and grow, jointly writing a warm chapter for the Dragon Boat Festival and Children's Day.
