Recently, Shandong Dejian Group Zambian Engineering Company hereafter (referred as Shandong Dejian) and the Ministry of National Defense of Zambia signed a joint venture agreement for timber plant. According to the agreement, the Shandong Dejian will jointly establish a wood processing factory with the Zambia National Service under the Ministry of Defense of Zambia.
Mr. Stardy Mwale, Permanent Secretary of the Zambian Ministry of Defence, Col. Phiri, Chief Logistics Officer of the Zambian National Service, and Mr. Wang Hongbing, General Manager of the Shandong Dejian attended the signing ceremony. At the signing ceremony, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defense, Mr. Stardy Mwale, spoke highly of the project that Dejian had built in Zambia. At the same time, he said that he would continue to support Shandong Dejian.
The timber plant was built to meet the company's timber import business needs and the booming development of the local timber industry. Through cooperation with the Zambian government, Shandong Dejian has fully utilized the advantages of local resources to truly realize the sustainable development business model of scientific logging, professional production, and legal export. At the same time, it is also a new breakthrough for Shandong Dejian to promote the transformation and upgrading of the industry and achieve a diversified business philosophy.
