Recently, DMGF of Jafurah desalination project in Saudi Arabia has been successfully capped. As for the keystone buildings of this project, the successful capping out of the area of DMGF has laid the foundation for the overall performance of the project. During the construction process, facing the difficulties and challenges of high temperature and heat, complicated geological conditions and the owner Aramco's high requirements for construction precision and quality, the project team formulated a scientific and reasonable construction plan, set up a strict quality control system, and carried out strict supervision and inspection from the procurement of raw materials to each construction process to ensure that each link complied with the construction standards.
The main scope of work of Saudi Arabia Jafurah Desalination Project includes the EPC work of the desalination plant with a daily production capacity of 80,000 m3 and a water pipeline of about 200 km, which will be responsible for providing desalinated water for the development facilities of the Jafurah gas field in Saudi Arabia after completion. With the successful capping of the multi-media filtration tank, the Jafurah desalination project has entered a new construction phase. The project team will continue to maintain high morale and rigorous work attitude to ensure the smooth progress of the project follow-up works and early completion and commissioning, so as to provide reliable fresh water supply for Jafurah gas field in Saudi Arabia, contribute to the development of the company's overseas business, and add new colors to the friendly cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia.
